TCDA Mission

About TCDA: The Tahoe City Downtown Association (TCDA) is dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of the Tahoe City community. Through innovation, leadership, advocacy, and events, we serve as the local voice to maintain a vibrant and prosperous place to live, work, play and visit.

TCDA History

The TCDA is a non-profit, 501 C6 corporation, founded in 2004. We are comprised of local merchants, property owners, community associations, residents, professionals, and contributors who are committed to working together to formulate, direct and forge a sound and prosperous future for Tahoe City and the entire North Lake Tahoe area.

We welcome your participation and invite you to get involved to support the TCDA and its goals. Your support as a member, contributor or volunteer is vital to the success of the organization and Tahoe City, now and for years to come. Please click here for membership information.

Our Board of Directors and Executive Committee meet monthly, along with ongoing committee meetings. Meetings are open to all interested parties. Check our meeting schedule for dates and times.

The Main Street Four-Point Approach

TCDA was created under the guiding principles of Organization, Promotion, Design and Economic Restructuring, also known as the Main Street Four-Point Approach

As a unique economic development tool, the Main Street Four-Point Approach is the foundation for local initiatives to revitalize their districts by leveraging local assets—from cultural or architectural heritage to local enterprises and community pride. The four points of the Main Street approach work together to build a sustainable and complete community revitalization effort.

This site is designed to serve as a resource to members and visitors of the greater Tahoe City area. We welcome your feedback on what information is most valuable to you. Contact us to find out more about TCDA TCDA
