TCDA Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the TCDA and oversees the direction of the organization. TCDA Directors represent Tahoe City’s diverse industries that include retail, non-retail, restaurant businesses, professional services, financial institutions, and real estate.
Katherine has had a passion for the Tahoe community since she
moved to Tahoe City in 1998. She stays informed on local issues in her current role as the Publisher and Editor In Chief of “Tahoe Weekly,” a 36-year-old publication that chronicles the remarkable people and places of the Tahoe
Sierra. She has made Tahoe her permanent home and is committed to investing in the success of Tahoe City economically and socially.
Gail moved to Tahoe in 1973. She is the treasurer of the Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation; treasurer of the Tahoe City Recreation Association; board member for the TCDA, Tahoe City Golf Club, and Snowfest; active member of the North Lake Tahoe Kiwanis; and committee member for July 4th Fireworks and Oktoberfest. When she isn’t volunteering, she spends time with her children and grandsons who also live locally.
Sherina has been in the Tahoe area since 2000. She grew up in the Auburn/Colfax area. Her family has had a cabin in Tahoe Pines since the early 1940’s and she spent many summers in Tahoe before making this her home. She currently works for Plumas Bank in Tahoe City has 25 years of experience in the banking industry. She has served on the Board since 2008 and most recently as the Treasurer for 4 years. She likes to volunteer at our local events and loves being a part of this amazing community.
Eric BrandtBoard Member
Eric, CEO of Destination Media Solutions, grew up in the Bay Area and made his way to Tahoe where he has lived for 27 years. His diverse career has included Tahoe Truckee River Rafting, production for NBC’s show “The Golden Girls,” video work with legendary Warren Miller, studio recording engineering for Don Felder of The Eagles, plus Squaw/Alpine and Tahoetopia. An original TCDA board member & Concerts at Commons Beach founding member, Eric loves his job and his community — his “Tahoe-utopia.”
Gary DavisBoard Member
Gary has lived and worked in the Tahoe City area since 1986. He owns the Gary Davis Group as well as commercial property in downtown Tahoe City and has a serious interest in the long-term health of the Tahoe City community.
Bill DietzBoard Member
Bill has lived in the North Lake Tahoe area since 1988. He co-founded Tahoe Luxury Properties in 1994 with his wife, Kelly, and is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Principal Broker. As an avid outdoorsman, who loves skiing, mountain biking, wakeboarding, and surfing, he loves sharing his passion for the Tahoe area.
Robb OlsonBoard Member
Robb has been in business in Tahoe since 2006. He and his wife, Molly, are raising three children in Tahoe City, where they recently opened Olson-Olson Ena in the Boatworks Mall in 2016. Robb holds two Bachelors Degrees in Architecture and Fine Arts from USC. He serves as a board member of the TCDA and the Bear Creek Association, and is a member of the American Institute of Architecture, Contractors Association Truckee-Tahoe, and Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors.
Melissa SiigBoard Member
Melissa has lived in the Alpine Meadows/Tahoe City area for 14 years. She and her husband Steven (“Siig”) opened the Tahoe Art Haus & Cinema at the Cobblestone Center in 2014. She and Siig have three children who attend schools in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District and they are BIG believers of bringing the community together.
Clint PeetzBoard Member
Clint is the owner of Fat Cat Bar & Grill located in downtown Tahoe City. With a background in Culinary Arts and Business Management Clint wanted to establish a restaurant known for fresh local food. He is committed to supporting the small local business community and wants to preserve the “Mom & Pop” feel of Tahoe City. Clint & Fat Cat Bar & Grill are dedicated to bringing vibrancy and excitement to Tahoe City for generations to come.
Ryan FitzhenryBoard Member
Ryan moved to North Lake Tahoe from the Bay Area to do “a winter in Tahoe”. Almost 12 years later after numerous jobs including ski instructor, jet ski dock attendant and bus boy, he got a “real job” producing content for television in Reno. A few years in the corporate world was enough and he decided to co-found a video production company called Rotor Collective Digital Cinema. Specializing in drone and video production, Rotor Collective as been a local business for almost 5 years. He has a passion for film production, motion graphics and 3D design. When not in front of the computer, he is either skiing or backpacking around Lake Tahoe!
