Tahoe City’s 70th annual fireworks show promises to be a spectacular display unlike any other. Prior to the fireworks at 9:30pm, Tahoe City’s Bell Bottom Beach Bash beginning at noon on Commons Beach includes music, hula hooping cornhole, beach ball toss and performances by Penney the Clown. Food vendors will be on site and merchandise will be available on North Lake Blvd and Commons Beach.

Bell Bottom Beach Bash – noon – 10 pm. (At Commons Beach – downtown Tahoe City)

Noon-10pm: Music by Kip Yager and DJ Chapin, Hula Hoops, Cornhole, Beach Balls, Merchandise booth, Moe’s BBQ, A Pop Above Popcorn, Cheri’s hand dipped ice cream!

4pm: Wheelbarrow Races
5pm: Hula Hoop Contest
5:30pm: Penny the Clown Performance
6:30pm: Patriotic Costume Contest
7pm: Raffle for great prizes
9:30pm: Firework show (choreographed to music from Commons Beach)

The 70th annual Tahoe City 4th of July Celebration and fireworks show in Tahoe City will take place at Commons Beach. There will be a fun family beach bash happening during the day, with food, games, and fun.  Bring a picnic and enjoy the fireworks starting at dusk. It’s free to attend, but donations to support this and future fireworks shows are gladly accepted. For more information, call (530) 583-3348.

There is no budget from local taxes or government support to pay for the Tahoe City July 4th fireworks. The fireworks are entirely funded by grants, sponsorships and donations from generous organizations and individuals. If you enjoy having the annual fireworks shows in Tahoe City each July 4, please donate!   It’s easy to do.
