Join the celebration at Tahoe City Oktoberfest


The Tahoe City Oktoberfest promises to be the most fun in Tahoe City all year! Come hungry and thirsty to Layton Park outside the beautiful and rustic Gatekeeper’s Museum (next to Fanny Bridge). Beer, Brats, Live Music & games for the entire family…even your dogs! Don Lederhosen and traditional German dress for the fabulous 2016 costume contest!

Come enjoy live music from Coburn Station and Forget the Roses.  New this year, Tahoe City Oktoberfest will feature craft beers from some of the region’s best microbreweries, including The Brewing Lair, FiftyFifty Brewing Company, and Auburn Alehouse, in addition to the ever-popular beers by Lagunitas Brewing Company.  Oktoberfest beer steins are included with the purchase of the first beer, and delicious food will be served-up by local vendors, including Big Blue Q of Tahoe, The Souper Wagon and Men Wielding Fire.

Free admission! $10 for first beer or wine includes souvenir beer stein.  The funds raised from this event will help support the Tahoe City Downtown Association’s mission to help make Tahoe City America’s best mountain town.

When: Noon to 6 PM on Saturday, October 1, 2016

Where: William B. Layton Park next to the Gatekeeper’s Museum [MAP]

Enjoy live music, cold beer, barbeque sausages plus fun games and crafts for kids of all ages.  Activities include pumpkin painting, hula-hoops, Pumpkin painting, hula hoops, contests, shopping at craft vendors and contests for the whole family.
