TAHOE CITY’S FIRST FRIDAYS –  Join the fun on the first Friday of each month in Tahoe City where businesses stay open late, offer refreshments, music and maybe a special.  Check out our events calendar to find out the theme for each month.

TCDA’S MEMBER AND VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION PARTY  January 2016, date TBA.  Join us as we celebrate our members and volunteers! Come meet TCDA Staff, board of directors and fellow business members for food, fun and drinks at The Blue Agave. Enjoy a drink on us and complimentary appetizers while we mingle and chat about Tahoe City’s bright future.

SnowFest!WACKY WINTER BOWLING – March 2016, date TBA, weather permitting. Get ready, get set……. Fly on that saucer! Come out for a fun-filled event of sledding saucers into blow-up Bozzo’s on a bowling course. Tons of fun to be had by kids and adults.

TAHOE CITY FARMERS MARKET – Thursdays, May 28,2015 – September 24, 2015 | Commons Beach (May 28-June 18; August 27-September 24, 8am-1pm)  & Tahoe Lake School August 27-September 24, 8am-1pm. Enjoy fresh local produce, delicious food and great people at the Thursday morning Foothill Farmers’ Market.

TCDA’S ANNUAL TAHOE GAL CRUISE AND FUNDRAISER – 2016 Date TBD.  The annual TCDA fundraising cruise on the Tahoe Gal is a great opportunity to hang out with friends and neighbors on a beautiful Lake Tahoe evening, while also contributing to our terrific local events and projects.

TAHOE CITY CLEAN UP DAY – 2016 Date TBD.  Clean Up Day takes place annually on the first Saturday, June RAIN OR SHINE in Tahoe City.  Help make town sparkle.

TAHOE CITY SOLSTICE FESTIVAL – June 2016. The Tahoe City Solstice Festival includes signature events over the course of three days, all of which tout Tahoe City’s distinct qualities and character:  instant access to Lake Tahoe, artisan food and wine, acclaimed musicians and artists, and celebrated collection of shops, restaurants, and galleries.

CONCERTS AT COMMONS BEACH – June 21- September 6, 2015 | Commons Beach.  Local, regional & national performers will delight Tahoe City audiences every Sunday afternoon this summer at Commons Beach. Visit for more info.

MOVIES ON COMMONS BEACH – Wednesdays in July & August.  Tahoe City’s free outdoor movie nights will return this summer offering families and movie-goers a splendid outdoor cinema experience every Wednesday in Tahoe City.  Check back for movie schedule.

TAHOE CITY FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS AND BEACH BASH – July 4, 2016.  Celebrate Tahoe City’s 71st annual fireworks show and our country’s birthday with a fun day at the beach and an awe inspiring display of fireworks. The crystal clear waters of the lake reflect and multiply the mesmerizing lights, making it a display unlike any other.

LAKE TAHOE DANCE FESTIVAL – 2016 Dates TBA – Gatekeeper’s Museum/William B. Layton Park. A highlight of summer in Tahoe City has become the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, known for bringing its first-rate artists from around the world. A diverse program celebrating the innovators of dance – from classic works that helped shape the art form to the most promising choreographers of today. This outdoor event is not to be missed!

PACIFIC FINE ARTS FESTIVAL – August 14, 15, & 16, 2015 & August 21, 22, & 23, 2015 at The Boatworks Mall lawn area.  Set on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, the 7th annual Tahoe City Fine Arts and Crafts Festival will give visitors a special opportunity to meet with more than 45 artisans and craftspeople showcasing a wide variety of arts and crafts including photography, oil paintings, ceramic vessels, jewelry and much more.

TAHOE CITY’S LABOR DAY SIDEWALK SALE – September 5-7, 2015. Another fabulous reason to buy local at Tahoe City’s Town-wide Labor Day Weekend Sidewalk Sale. This sale offers some of the best deals of the season for locals and visitors to Tahoe City.

TAHOE CITY OKTOBERFEST – October 3, 2015 at Gatekeeper’s Museum/William B. Layton Park, 12pm-6pm.  Tahoe City Oktoberfest celebration host activities for the whole family, even the dogs!  Enjoy live music, cold beer, BBQ sausages and wieners and fun games and crafts for kids of all ages.
