There’s good reason Tahoe City was named one of America’s Best 4th of July Displays! Celebrate our country’s birthday at our 74th annual show on July 4, 2018 on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Come check out the biggest, brightest, and most dazzling fireworks show you’ve ever seen!
Our 4th of July Fireworks Show has become a tradition in Tahoe City for 74 years. Streets are packed; hotels, shops, and restaurants are full; and visitors and locals alike are happy. The weeks surrounding July 4th are considered the busiest and highest revenue generating time of the year for our North and West shore businesses — and we love seeing our businesses thrive! Currently, there is no budget from local taxes or government support to pay for the Tahoe City Fireworks Show, so the fireworks are entirely funded by grants, sponsorships, and donations from generous organizations and individuals, like you. You are the only reason our show has been going strong for 74 straight years, so please help our efforts to return year after year.
Please join us in showing support of the Tahoe City Fireworks Show. Any donation, big or small, will help us reach our goal and sustain the fireworks for years to come. Simply click the button below to pay by credit card or mail us a check to: TCDA | PO BOX 6744 | Tahoe City, CA 96145.
Become a sponsor of this year’s show and your business will be seen by thousands!
Pre-4th: Join our July 4th Planning Committee!
On the 4th: Help collect donations and more!
On the 5th: Keep Tahoe Red, White, and Blue Beach Clean-Up! Along the lakes edges, visitors and locals gather to enjoy spectacular fireworks on the 4th, but unfortunately, a mess is left behind: 1500 pounds of mess to be exact! Together with the League to Save Lake Tahoe, Alpenglow and the TCDA head out with volunteers to clean up Commons Beach and bring it back to ship-shape for all visitors and locals to enjoy. We’ll be armed with garbage bags, dumpsters, and high fives. Please join us at 8:30am. We’ll have FREE hot coffee for those who bring their own mug, snacks, and raffle items for our volunteers.
Both locals and visitors who are looking for a fun, active way to join our community are encouraged to volunteer and join the festivities! Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Dana Tanner Powell at firstname.lastname@example.org or 530-583-3348.
