How the Swap Works

Shopping?

If you are looking to purchase equipment, the swap opens at 10am. Admission to the event is FREE. There will be several volunteers and equipment representatives to help you find the right equipment for your needs. Typically available are Backcountry, touring, dog-walking, and racing skis, boots, poles and bindings as well as clothing and other apparel/footwear. Some products are used, many are new. You are sure to find what you are looking for, but arrive early for best selection.

Upon entry, each shopper receives 1 Raffle Ticket. We will be raffling off 2 Adult Season Passes this year! More raffle tickets can be bought from volunteers. You can get 10 tickets for $20.

All proceeds from the raffle and swap go to support the Tahoe Cross-Country Ski Education Association (TCCSEA)*.

*TCCSEA is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides children in the community with a unique opportunity to participate in a sport that will provide lifelong enjoyment and health benefits, and it can also provide motivated individuals with a foundation for world-class training/competition. Many young athletes from the area move on to compete at the national and international level in Nordic skiing. TCCSEA also supports the Nordic ski teams from North Tahoe Middle and High School by providing free trail access and coaching support for every student/athlete.

We will be serving food from 9:30am to 12pm. Breakfast burritos, coffee, juice, and more from Men Wielding Fire.

You can also choose to donate your unsold items to Tahoe Cross-Country Ski Education Association (TCCSEA)- a 501(c)3 non-profit. As such, your contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Our tax ID# is 68-0431295.
