It’s #facesoftahoecity Friday! Meet Sherina Kreul, AVP/Bank Manager at Tahoe City’s Plumas Bank!
Sherina was born and raised in Auburn, attended high school in Colfax and college at San Diego State University studying Business/Finance.
After working in an ice cream parlor (at 16!) and as a travel agent, Sherina embarked on a 28-year banking career that began at a community credit union in San Diego. Life was good in San Diego, but Tahoe City was calling.
Sherina, and husband of 16 years Bryan Kreul, left high paying jobs behind and moved to the family cabin in Tahoe City. It didn’t take long to realize they were home, and today, Sherina is celebrating her three-year anniversary at Plumas Bank-Tahoe City.
Sherina loves her job, and Tahoe City, because of the amazing people. A community that comes together in good and bad and a community that lives like every day is a vacation!
When not working, you can find Sherina boating, hiking, enjoying wine with friends at River Grill or Chambers Landing Bar and Restaurant, wearing colorful wigs and costumes, singing karaoke (former back-up singer in a ska/punk band) or volunteering for the Tahoe City Downtown Association.
