Congratulations to the WINNER of the 2016 Tahoe City Downtown Association Window Decorating Contest:  Pepper Tree Inn.

We have a winner and it ain’t no lie
Pepper Tree set the bar and the bar is high!
We’ll give them a trophy
a token of appreciation
The Tessie Trophy we’ll call it
After our mascot, even if she’s only in our imagination

There’s honorable mention and we can name names
Market 28, Chase, Boatworks, too
Cobblestone, North Lake Auto Parts, to name a few
So many participated in our decorating game!

Next year we hope to add more names to the list
Thanks to PepperTree the competition is on
It’s all in fun, but you get the gist

To all who showed spirit
Again thanks are due
We love our festive Mountain Town
And we thank you all for all you do
